The new Xbox360 units that the Microsoft Corporation released last November 2007, faces a technical problem that appears in its console known as the <b> “Red Ring of Death”. </b> If you are not familiar with it, then you might be lucky enough to have an Xbox360 unit that doesn’t have any errors unlike other people does.
A lot of people are having fun playing with their most favorite Xbox360 units and when they are at the middle of their games, the Xbox360’s console suddenly freezes, same as the video and sounds of the console, and there were three red lights in a ring that flashes on and off. You might have notice that the upper-quadrant is the only light that didn’t flash red. Though, a lot experienced having an error message that displays “E74” and some were given an error code like 0102. These are the signs of having a “Red Ring of Death” in your Xbox360 console.
But, there’s nothing to worry about. This kind of technical error only warns every player that you are playing with your Xbox360 for several hours and the console overheated. So you have to cool it down for 5 hours or so. When you start playing with your Xbox360, then this error message still appears, that’s the time that you have to call an expert and professional Xbox technician or the gaming shop where you had purchased it, if and only if, the warranty is still valid so that you can have it for free when you want the console to be repaired.
Another thing also is that, you can check online through the Internet. There are a lot of steps in the World Wide Web on how to fix your console so that the “Red Ring of Death” that is feared by a lot of Xbox360 players won’t bother you again.
The good thing is, after the Microsoft Corporation received reports and complaints about the “Red Ring of Death” in their Xbox360s, they had announced to extend the warranty by three years due to the fact that they had released the Xbox360 units with some technical failures. So, anyone can have there units fixed at the company for free and they will be replaced by a new Xbox360 units just within a week.
How about that? That was good news, isn’t it? Now you won’t need to smack your Xbox360 units down, throw it out the window or junk it outside your doors just because it won’t function anymore like what others were doing. And the bottom line is it was Red Ring of Death’s fault. Why does it keep on appearing anyway? Oh well, you don’t have to confuse yourselves, it’s only a machine and machines can be repaired at no time.
